- The Newton High School Alumni Association is hosting the annual ALL CLASS REUNION WEEKEND on June 11 & 12, 2021.
- This year the ALL CLASS REUNION will be held at the newly remodeled Maytag Ballroom in the Hotel Maytag on Friday, June 11 from 6pm-midnight. The newly remodeled Midtown Restaurant & Muse Wine Bar will be the evenings food & drink vendors. Hors d'oeuvres & non alcoholic beverages will be included in the cover price. Food trucks on site for further selection.
- The ALL CLASS BRUNCH & HALL OF FAME CEREMONY is on Saturday, June 12 at 10am at the Newton High School.
- The 2nd Annual JACK CHADWICK BEST SHOT GOLF TOURNAMENT at Westwood Golf Course on Saturday, June 12, with shotgun start at 1pm. (Rain date June 13)
- SPONSORS are needed for the GOLF TOURNAMENT. Different levels of support available.
- ALUMNI MEMBERSHIPS are now being sold online. 1, 5 and Lifetime memberships are available. These funds provide for a twice yearly high end magazine about NHS and it's Alumni. The additional funds help with Reunion Weekend and Scholarships.
- THIS YEAR'S FUNDRAISING PROJECT is for the NHS Cross Country Team. Donations are being accepted to develop their own course and purchase tents, banners, etc. The anticipated cost is to be 10k+. Classes, Individuals or Businesses are welcome to donate and will be acknowledged at the new course. Checks can be mailed to NHSAA PO Box 623, Newton, IA 50208.
